To improve identification of the specific restricted-use data agreement under which research was conducted, Add Health is updating its required acknowledgement language. Effective immediately, researchers using Add Health restricted-use data should include their Add Health Restricted-Use Contract number as part of the acknowledgement section in manuscripts, reports, presentations, and other scholarly products based on analyses of restricted-use data.

The updated acknowledgement language is provided below, as well as on our website. This change affects only users of Add Health restricted-use data. You will need your contract number to include in the acknowledgement language.

If you are working on the UNC Secure Research Workspace (SRW), your contract number is in the name of your working folder. If you are not working on the SRW and you need assistance in locating your contract number, please email Add Health Contracts at addhealth_contracts@unc.edu. Please include the name of the contract’s PI in any correspondence with Add Health Contracts.
