Special Request Data
Special Request data are files that have additional limitations on access.
Available with an SRW Contract
Five Special Request data sets are only available on the SRW. Access to these data must be requested by the Principal Investigator or the designated Admin of the SRW Contract from within their account on the Contracts Management System (CMS).
Only one individual on a contract may have access to each Special Request data set.
The access is granted for the remaining length of the contract. Additional access requirements are listed below alongside each data set. All requirements are the responsibility of the Contract Principal Investigator (PI).
- Romantic Pairs
- Upload a Justification Statement using the form provided in the CMS.
- SOGI-SES Sensitive
- Upload a Data Analysis Plan using the form provided in the CMS.
- HUD-Assisted Housing Supplementary Data
- Upload a Data Analysis Plan using the form provided in the CMS.
- School District Grouping
- Upload a Data Analysis Plan using the form provided in the CMS.
- Death Certificate Data
- Electronically sign a PDF Data Access Agreement and upload it to the CMS.

Available with a Home Institution Contract
A sixth Special Request data set, the dbGaP Linkage File, is only available to researchers with a Home Institution Contract who also have an active Data Use Agreement with dbGaP. This file allows researchers to integrate Add Health restricted-use data with Omics data obtained from dbGaP.
